The Combat Uniform of the Indian Army is changing and its first look will be visible in the Army Day Parade on 15 January. For the first time, the marching squads in the Army Day Parade will be according to the uniform and weapons of the Indian Army at different times. Similarly, for the first time, the army squads that will participate in the Republic Day parade will be according to the uniform of different rounds.

How did the dress keep changing?
Till now, in the Army Day Parade and Republic Day Parade, the marching squads of the Army were divided according to different regiments. But for the first time, it will be according to the uniform of different eras. According to sources, a marching squad will be in pre-independence army uniform and with weapons of that time. Similarly, one squad will march in the uniform of 1962, one squad after 1971 uniform, one squad in early 90’s uniform, one squad will march in the current uniform of the army. A squad will be in the new combat uniform of the army.

how is the new uniform
The new combat uniform of the Indian Army has a digital pattern. According to sources, the camouflage (a color and pattern that is not visible and helps to hide) in the uniform is much better. The army of many countries, including the US, uses digital patterns. In the current uniform, the shirt is inserted inside the pant and the belt is put on the outside. In the new uniform, the belt will be inside and the shirt will be outside. According to the army officer, this will make work easier. Some changes have also been made in the clothes.
